The second year students of b batch presented their hot buffet with andhra pradesh as a theme for their Indian regional assignment.      
The event was put up by around 45 students of the batch from planning to organising the theme from the decor, the performances,food & service style and also a ppt presentation & video about the state was presented to the faculty team & selected guests : 1. Ms.Joaquina Perriera-chef- St.Regis hotel. 2. Mr. Salman sawant-chef from hotel j.w.marriott- juhu. 3. Mr. Vishal singh- f & b dept from hotel sahara star. 4. Mr.darshan kukkal- chef from hotel taj lands end.
The guests & faculties not only appreciated the efforts but also offered suggestions and feedback to do even better in the future events.
Special Guest Lecture for Front Office Specialisation      
Students on Rooms Division Management & Revenue Management in Front Office Operations by Mr. Satyajit Kotwal - General Manager -The Resort -5 Star Hotel at Malad- Mumbai at Kohinoor College -Dadar.
Over 40 students attended the special session which discussed about roles in front office, case studies, handling situations & various types of guests, group check ins & corporate dealings with companies for room sales & insight into revpar & revenue management skills needed by a front office manager.
The session of around 2 hours cleared up many practical based questions from the industry point of view.
Second Year Hot Buffet- Theme-Uttar Pradesh- The Essence of India.          
Organised by- Second Year- C- batch students at the Training Restaurant at the college from 12.45 noon to 2.45 pm. An event with a presentation on uttar Pradesh with inclusions on the culture, dress, food, lifestyle & tourism as the elements assigned to the batch to work on & present the same. There was a traditional menu prepared & served on the occassion with a round of quiz questions related to the theme, in addition there were classical dance performances as well by the students which made it complete as a theme event and an experience in preparation towards working as a team & learning as well. The event also witnessed a few guests from hotels like The Trident & Taj Lands End who joined in to motivate the students & offer them feedback as well.
